A very successful ''Meet the Teacher'' night

Thank you to all those that found the time to come in and meet the teacher! For those that couldn't make it in this time, I will be sending home a brochure that contains practical suggestions for simple and everyday things that you can do at home to enhance your child's learning in French Immersion.

language. It's 100% free, fun and science-based. 

Get Started !!!

1. Select French. 

2. Set your Daily Goal and continue (you can change this later). 
3. Create a Profile
4. Type in your Name, Email and Password, then press          
     Create. 
5. Go to your Profile and press Progress Sharing. 
6. Type in the following exactly: Share progress with:            
     sara.carroll@ocsb.ca 
     Section or Class: Mlle Carroll - 5/6 immersion 
7. Press Save Changes.
8. Start learning and mastering your French!
9. Visit Duolingo DAILY as part of your homework routine.

I truly hope that your family had a great summer and I welcome you back to an exciting new school year! It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as your child’s grade 5/6 French Immersion teacher in portable 10.

As technology is very prevalent at St. Cecilia, we will be encouraging students to bring in their electronic devices to do research and work on projects upon the signing/return of the “acceptable use of technology agreement”.  On our class website you’ll be able to keep track of all the activities and assignments that we are working on.
